I just can't believe it ! After weeks of waiting it here :)
Now we just have to get everything apostilled then shipped to Ukraine for translation and wait to be submitted !!!!

- Welcome to my little blog spot in the world. Most of what you read here will be about our "journey" in the adoption process. My wonderful husband of 17yrs and I have finally made the decision to adopt and we are SO very excited about it ! After choosing our agency, things went very quickly and now we are just in the horrible waiting stages for approval from USICS, then our dossier submission and then FINALLY an invitation to visit the country of Ukraine, where our unknown sweet little girl waits for us. That has to be the most difficult part of waiting, knowing she is waiting too. Another day with no family to love her and make her smile. I have 5 beautiful nieces between the ages of 4 months and 6 years....I tend to spoil the heck outta them. Congratulations! I'm still waiting for the receipt letter so that we can go get fingerprinted. Our homestudy is done.
Congratulations on the 171H. We had to eventually get our congressman involved because we were trying to beat the quota shutdown. Still not sure whether we beat it or not. We has a small paperwork issue and are now waiting to see if they are going to except our dossier this year. The wait is killing us but it's out of our hands.
